gold coins and all that shiny stuff
I have been doing a little more news reading lately. I am curious about the economy which I think we all are. It is a scary world we live in. Everyone seems to be broke people are not driving new cars as much as they were and I dont blame them. It seems the best thing to invest in anymore is gold. There are alot of options for gold investing. Personal I do not like alot of gold. As far as jewelry goes I do not wear any really. I like white gold if anything cause I am cool skin toned. With the bad economy I am always tempted to start investing in gold coins. Fortunately the antidote for that kind of fear has always been gold. There are alot of ways to invest and some are actually even really cute like the panda coin but omg it is pricey. I guess it is worth it for what you are getting.
I would love to have some one to point me in the right direction cause to be honest I am a bit of a dope when it comes to such things. I would never know what to get I would buy a gold coin based on it's cute appeal rather than its actual worth. I guess there are alot of places out there that tell you a bit about the worth and correct way to invest in gold bullion. I know my grandparents bought be a really cool gold coin when I was a baby and left it for me when I grew up. So I have been keeping it until the price of bullion went up to a nice price. Also it is sentimental as well. My grandma called it a rainy day coin hehe you know how grandparents are. Well anyway time to invest I guess and learn a bit more about the world I live in.
Bands and concerts added with a tv
I have also started the new season of Dexter! It is so strange seeing him as a dad. I am not sure how much I like or dislike it yet. The first episode was a little slow but the second one has picked back up. There is nothing like a serial killer lol Watching Showtime on directtv.com is awesome I never miss what I want to see. I think Californication is starting soon on Showtime as well. That is a strange and unusual show but another plus of digital satellite tv the ability to watch those shows. So when I am not out partying it up I lay home trying to squeeze in my tv addictions lol I have not missed anything yet with my dirctv so no complaints. I just wish I had more time. I always seem to have a list of things to do or things to watch. Like I can not get the time to finish any of it.
There are alot of really top shows on this season to watch. I also watch survivor on nbc :O Another tried and true favorite is CSI. That shows is awesome not as good with no gil grissom but still a good show. I get bummed though because greys anatomy is on at the same time as survivor :( Then the rest of the week the shows are not quite as interesting thursday nights seem to catch all the good shows.Oh well off I go to play some catch up watch some simpsons on tv en direct.
Lately i have had the pleasure of photographing alot of local bands. It is awesome to see the raw talent and energy bursting off of the stage. The latest bands have been awesome alot of rock and heavy death metal. The biggest venue has been at the Norva which holds a few thousand people. The most interesting shows sometimes are at the little hole in the wall metal bars. I was lucky enough to see the Murder Junkies a few weeks ago and photograph them. The way they just flowed from one song to the next with no breaks was crazy. The amount of energy they were displaying in their stage presence! The music was pure punk angst!

Digital Cameras and me
As you might know I am a photographer. My website is http://innervision.ifp3.com/
I currently shoot with a pentax k100d camera. I have been looking for a new camera and found an awesome resource. I am not sure if I want to have another pentax or move up to a cannon. There are so many pros and cons on each of the available camera options. The new pentax has alot of nice features but I have found purchasing lenses for this brand can be a pain in the arse. Shopping for digital cameras can be very complicated. With my first camera I mainly looked for an SD card and I wanted a camera that could use AA as well as a proprietary battery. It seems the new Pentax no longer offers that option So I was looking at the cannons. Alot of people swear by Nikon and are so wrapped up in the draw of a big name. I do not think the camera makes the picture as much as the artistic eye. Yes some of the Nikkons are amazing cameras I will not lie but the price tag is signifigantly higher. Plus the lenses are a bit more pricey as well. The main things to look for are the megapixel rating, the compatibility of lenses, antishake feature plus the menu options. So all in all I guess I will just have to do some more research and decide what option is best for me.
Price is always a concern unfortunately when making such a large purchase. I admit I can be brand loyal but I am willing to definitely explore the other options as I might find something I like much better. Pentax however does offer the best value. So we shall see how it goes.

Vacations and trips galore
I have found myself finally traveling! After years and years of never going anywhere there is a travel explosion in my life right now. I just got back from my second trip to NJ/NYC. I went to see Buckethead at Governor's Island in new york. It was an amazing experience! Listen to my mode of travel... drove to the train station took a train then hopped a subway then took a ferry to the island! Can you imagine!?!?! Iit sounds like alot of travel but it was relatively fast for it all. The ferry ride was most interesting! The Hudson river was choppy and the night was brisk and windy. After the concert I had an amazing time in New Jersey hiking the mountains.
For my next trip I might be going to New Orleans to help rebuild the lower 9th ward which is still closed off to the general public. can you imagine after all of this time since Katrina there are still people homeless and areas left untouched? I really was in awe when I heard that. The sad thing is it is mostly the poor areas left. So volunteering some time to help out seems like a good idea. I was debating leaving a little early and stopping at Myrtle Beach Golf. That way I can have a break in the 16 hour drive that I will be facing to get to New Orleans. I am lucky and will not be going alone so that will help with the drive as well. I wish I could fly at times but it is just not in my make up right now. A Myrtle Beach Golf Vacation might do me good. I am not much of a golfer to be honest well except the driving range part. Golf Myrtle Beach is a lovely resort though and as you have read before I lived in that area for the beginning of my life so always nice to head back and see the sights. Definitely looking into some nice Myrtle Beach Golf Packages.
I will have 1/4 of the island back for rent now in Second Life as well. So anyone interested in having a private isle with complete control over your 1/4 for a reasonable price contact me via sablewolfeyes@verizon.net for more details! Tell your friends pass it along!
