Working towards newness

Well here I am again with the island fully rented out and finally having some time to work towards some newness. I have uploaded new hair textures and plan to make some new styles. I will also be renting out a few stores for people so if you are interested in having a store 100 prims or less please drop me a line. Long term landlord with excellent references and stability so you will not have to move or redo your store anytime soon. I am looking forward to some new things to bring to the second life community. As you all might know I had to take a break for a bit.

On a real life note I have made alot of new friends and have been working on my photography and my art. All of which keeps me happy! I have met some really cool new people alot that I usually would not run with. So it has helped me expand myself. I have also got to check out some really awesome new cars ohhhhh have you seen the chevy corvette pics.Omg it just looks so awesome!!!! It is a bit out of my league i have to say but I would not give to own one. But alas I will have to stick with my low end model import lol I guess we can all have our dreams. Another cool new vehicle is the land rover the things they can do and places they can go. I have always been more of a truck girl myself than the sports cars. But I do like a wide variety of vehicles. The chevy tahoe is really more my speed. Large spacious and roomy. I do have alot of dogs that need space to ride in. I have an suv now and I love it. I am sorry I know it makes gas concerned people mad but I really do need the room. I am less into the lexus models. People say they are very nice but I just can not see myself in one ever. Unless they make a really nice durable SUV which I do not see happening in the future due to the current auto market. For the time being I will be happy with my car but I can dream and drool over some of the 2010 models of coolness.

Sick time and the television

I have been blessed to have on demand access with my tv or I would have gone insane. This flu has had me locked up now for days. Nothing to do too tired and weak to make alot of effort so it is me and my tv. The ability to pull up my shows to keep my sad little mind occupied really did make the discomfort of the flu a little mroe bearable. The aches and pains and groaning associated with the flu got to be a bit much to handle after the first day. I would curl up with my blankie an pillows and turn on showtime and californication on Direct TV.

The new season apparently started a good many weeks ago but I just discovered it. I have always watched it before but got caught up in the Dexter excitement. Californication is definitely a different creater than Dexter. The theme is also very mature as it involves strong sexual content but it is an interesting perspective on life. My DirectTV keeps me up to date on the show even when I get too busy lol. So I curled up with 5 episodes of Californication today all nice and warm and snuggled in. As I said my Directv really kept me sane for those sick times. If I had no tv when I was sick I would definitely lose my mind. I am not a huge TV watcher but when I am sick it becomes my best friend!

Sickness and a musical

Well needless to say I have been sick with the flu. How horrible is that. We also just had a nor easter come through that flooded my streets to the point of not being able to leave. I was supposed to see the Evil Dead Musical but I was unable to attend. I had never heard of it before it is something out of Canada. Lots of blood and gore and well music. I never really was of a musical fan but I thought I would give it a shot. I mean alot of people love them. Look at Broadway etc etc So they can not all be delusional right? I am looking at other musicals to perhaps check out as I have seemed to missed my chance to catch the Evil Dead one. I happened to see an advertisement for The Addams Family Musical. That looks interesting I loved the show as a kid. To have a gorgeous house like that and omg the car was to die for. I actually had my house in second life custom built to look like their house. The Addams Family tickets would be kind of hard for me to aquire but they may come down my way.

I can say with all certainty I will not be interested in High school musical tickets. That is definitely not my style at all. I could not sit through hours of that uughh. It is bad enough it was on my on demand advertisement for awhile. I have to say I am a little sad while in NY I was unable to attend any of the shows. There are so many theaters to pick from like JACOBS THEATRE TICKETS. Maybe next time when I go I can take in a good show. I miss the lights of the city and the hustle and bustle. I am sure a show in the city would make it all worth the commuting via subway, cab, bus, or ferry.

gold coins and all that shiny stuff

I have been doing a little more news reading lately. I am curious about the economy which I think we all are. It is a scary world we live in. Everyone seems to be broke people are not driving new cars as much as they were and I dont blame them. It seems the best thing to invest in anymore is gold. There are alot of options for gold investing. Personal I do not like alot of gold. As far as jewelry goes I do not wear any really. I like white gold if anything cause I am cool skin toned. With the bad economy I am always tempted to start investing in gold coins. Fortunately the antidote for that kind of fear has always been gold. There are alot of ways to invest and some are actually even really cute like the panda coin but omg it is pricey. I guess it is worth it for what you are getting.

I would love to have some one to point me in the right direction cause to be honest I am a bit of a dope when it comes to such things. I would never know what to get I would buy a gold coin based on it's cute appeal rather than its actual worth. I guess there are alot of places out there that tell you a bit about the worth and correct way to invest in gold bullion. I know my grandparents bought be a really cool gold coin when I was a baby and left it for me when I grew up. So I have been keeping it until the price of bullion went up to a nice price. Also it is sentimental as well. My grandma called it a rainy day coin hehe you know how grandparents are. Well anyway time to invest I guess and learn a bit more about the world I live in.
